So I thought the verifying would help. Like you, about files were missing and after over 12 hours of updating and downloading, steam finally popped a message that there is no disc space available. WFfolder had become over 50 gigs. I uninstalled via steam and deleted any residual files, currently I'm downloading it again via steam. Locate the game you wish to verify. Make a right-click on it to open Properties, as shown. 3. Switch to the Local files tab in-game Properties window. 4. Here, click on Verify integrity of game files button, as shown below. 5. Wait for Steam to verify the integrity of your game files. BUT. i verified the cache integrity of CIV III. and the files checked out % and it didn't re download the entire game. so i guess the blood dragon and sleeping dogs games themselves have a problem working with steam cache verify system and the problem is not steam. Steam doesn't provide a way to check the integrity of all of your games at once. However, someone has made a script that you can try to run that verifies all of your games in one shot. A link to the Reddit post can be found here. It gives an overview of what the script is. In order to run this script, you will need AutoIt.
